Fred, you wrote in part:

<< KDB, I don't understand how you can interpret LD's acquisition of stock as a negative. He's obligated to pay for it at $5 1/6 whether he borrowed the money or not. It is generally viewed as a NEGATIVE WHEN A CEO SELLS a sizable amount. Insider buying is considered positive.>>

FMK, It isn't a negative, but it isn't a ringing endorsement either. It is what it is, a smart tax move. That is how the guy got to where he is today, by making smart moves, with little risk. IT sure isn't buying on margin where if the value goes down the broker makes a margin call.

<<Remember that the company has at last gone on record with a production timetable over the newswires.>>

Big deal, that and $1.00 will get you a cup of coffee. Right now their credibility with the investment community, and myself is like that smelly stuff my dog leaves on the ground.

<<Perhaps its like laying down a $5000 blackjack bet and there is a delay before your next card - a ton of anxiety and odds less than 50% that you will come out on top.>>

Unfortunately, it is one of the few things you have written that I agree wholeheartedly with. It is just that, a speculative gamble.

<<Now that you have announced your dissatisfaction on a public forum, however, expect some buyers to back away in hope that they can acquire your stock at a lower price.>>

Yea, KDB, I hope you have caller ID, because someone may call you up and try to talk you into selling your shares to them!

Unfortuntelay, I am long VLNC. I will hold onto my shares, and await another disappointing no production second quarter. But I am no longer going to keep silent and listen to all of the hyped talk. I think Fred, you and this thread, (if you are long VLNC) would be better served if you started taking a more skeptical look at this company and its maangement.

Enough said.

Good night.

Jeff
