In your post, you mention the conversion to client server environments casually and I just read Forecross is doing a "mainframe to client/server conversion for a major Canadian University" in their latest press release..... Is the fact that Forecross can convert environments a big advantage for their approach? The prospect of a company needing to convert from mainframe to CS has been used before to argue against the success of conversion firms like Forecross...... but that must be false. (I follow Forecross and Viasoft press and have never seen a conversion from mainframe to CS before... did I miss it?) Does anyone else market themselves as able to do this conversion of environments??? Does this make Forecross unique? (I am holding a lot of FRX for 6 months or so and just getting nervous...)
