Jack, The four major seasonal dates that W.D. Gann used for predicting tops and bottoms in markets included March 21 which occurs during a weekend so your March options may still work out. I prefer to use leaps and buy in increments and wait for a market correction.

I currently am intrigued by the latest market run as it races past all the caution flags. Someday I plan to read the book "The Madness of Crowds", but firsthand experience is probably better. One recent warning flag has just been brought to my attention on the Gold Monitor thread. There is rumor that the Central Bank of Belgium will announce the prior sale of 300 tons of gold reserves within the next few days. Over the past few months, announcements of central bank gold reserve sales or plans to sell ie. Switzerland on October 24th have coincided with stock market corrections. This may be an early warning sign.

Also, my JP Morgan leap puts are getting hammered. I couldn't resist and added to my position today.

Terry,
