Ron, the chart on your link has a glitch showing that high price. Check out this page for a 5-year chart for VSH. quote.yahoo.com I think the component guys are struggling so much because their customers have forced them to lower prices. This is because they have multiple sources for commodity items such as standard capacitors. Nonetheless, these products are critical to the information age and Vishay has a sound position in the market. -Jay
