Jeff, I'm new to the thread, I have held asnd since sep. 97 and lost approx. $60k when I sold at about $27. I've since bought and sold but not very effectively. Ex. purchased 4k on 2/24 @35.75 only to panic and sell on 3/6 @33.50. Purchased 4k on 3/16 @34.25 only to watch it go down today to 32 1/16. My recent purchase was to do short term trading.

Reading your post it seems to me that you have changed from long on asnd to a day trader. I am incline to agree with you that short term trading is the way to invest in asnd these days.

My long winded question is whether it is better to trade short term for profits and try to get back in on any dips due to the buyout rumors?

I am afraid to be out of the stock in case of a buyout but do not feel comfortable just holding the stock as it is very volatile and have only lost money holding it.
