Well vacation is almost over. Job hunt going well so far, no formal offers yet, but some want me, oh yeah, they need me, at least that's what I think (ego trip). Sure seems like a lot of bio startups that need infrastructure round these parts. Plus, got my new vehicle choice narrowed down to a '98 Dodge Grand Caravan LE All Wheel Drive (AWD) with everything they've got as options, but do I want a Candy Apple Red one with leather interior or a Forest Green one with cloth. I tend to like cloth better as it doesn't get as sweaty, but I really like the red - hmmmmmmmm, tough choice. Tried out the new Lincoln Navigator 4WD too and really liked it, but it's just getting too pricey. Damn things are so tall it feels like being in a semi. Going to take the V1's advice and do a lease instead of buying it. Sounds nice to keep it until the warrantee is up and then dump it on the dealer with all the kid's bodily fluids lurking in the carpets, and get a new one. Plus the monthly payments are cheaper.
Biowa's been doing the job hunt, travelin' with his honey, and doing the consultant thing (you know somebody whose unemployed with a brief case and a business card). Being based in Iowa, you can bet he's got to travel to do any of it.
