I agree, I cannot fathom why the public seems to be so satisfied with Clinton's performance. Dole hits the nail on the head, when he says, "It's your money, not the government..." Now, the Indonesian and Buddhist temple campaign contributions come to light, and yet, no one seems to care. Forget that the contributions are illegal--shouldn't the fact that foreign nationals are padding Clinton's pockets make you a little concerned about Clinton's motives for the next four years? Isn't it funny how he recently approved the sale of a number of fighter jets to Indonesia? Isn't it funny how he just brushes aside the matter of a possible pardon for Susan McDougal and the rest of his Whitewater buddies who took the rap for him?

I think you've hit the nail on the head--the lack of education has created an opportunity for someone who is such a master of manipulating the media to become re-elected.

If by some fluke, Dole wins, Clinton can be assured that he has a very bright future as a talk show host--look out Ricki Lake! Wasn't Jerry Springer the mayor of Cincinnati before he went to daytime TV? I can see it now--"Today on the Bill and Hillary Show: Bill shares great elevator pick-up lines that work...also, Hillary discusses her new book, "It Took a Village to Wise Up, Why We're Out of the White House!"
