bonnie can you recommend a good CA REIT? everyone can give a million stock tips.....however i have grown to respect adn admire my elders on this thread......... was wondering what you (thread) consider a profitable portfolio in a bear market? what type of mix? i would like to buy a house soon and that is why i pulled everything out and into cash if i put 100 down (keep in money market for time being) that would leave say 50-80 to "play" with. of course i am nervous about buying at these outrageous house levels at the beach.....but then again interest rates are low... oh and any ideas on how to take advantage of Japan 18,000 situation? confused gg
