Del, the issues you raise are known beyond any reasonable doubt. You are getting confused with Europa. There is no volcanism on the moon. No we do not have to wait. No melted water on the moon. No water that deep either. If you absolutely must consider some type of biology you would have to base it on something other than carbon. But that is equally improbable. Life has definite properties which necesitate a very high degree of chemical diversity which is simply unavailable. Del, you have a tendency to believe what you wish to believe right from the outset.
