Question from a beginner:
I am reading a book on options and in it they describe something called a delta which is supposed to tell you how much a particular option will move given a one dollar move in the underlying stock. I need all the info I can get before I execute my first option trade and would be grateful if anyone new of a source of information which would provide delta's for options.
I'm also under the impression that spreads are somewhat safer plays than just buying calls and would appreciate anyones comment on that impression. Thanks in advance.
