Jose: imho, if you try to "make up" for a bad trade with a current trade, you will get cremated. Better to concentrate on what you did right and reinforce that. You chose the right deal, you just moved in and out at the "wrong" time. Your original instinct was correct, you just made a couple of expensive mistakes. You have taken the steps to help by getting on to SI. The more you know, the less you panic. Don't change your whole investment style because of one flaw.
