Roger,
I'm long KGFC and have been for over a year, so my average price is __a lot higher__ than yesterdays close. I know that you are just passing on information that you have access to and I appreciate it, but I've got a couple of questions for you or anyone else on the thread that may have the answers.
1) Is The Source a newsletter writer or what? As I remember, the last post from him on this thread (before the Kas gov. action/in-action) was still positive, and if he had advance information about the impending trouble he neglected to tell us. I for one get gun shy when a person is unwilling to provide a real name in their posts.
2) Do the members of the board own any of KGFC? As of the last financial statement that I have received, with my proxie letter just prior to the last annual meeting and just after the government shut KGFC out, none of the board held any shares of the company (very scarey). Do you know if that situation has changed now?
3) Do any of us remember the settlement that Barrick made with the Kas gov? I seem to remember that it was around 50 cents on the dollar and Barrick got clear out of the country. If Barrack with all it's money, lawyers, etc. could not do any better than that, how can we expect _little_ KGFC to come thru with a good deal?
Oops, I exceeded my couple of questions limit <vbg>.
All of the above said (asked), I guess I'm looking for a __good__ reason to be positive about the latest news. So far, I haven't found it, but I'm still looking.
TIA for any additional info, BobC
P.S. Roger, I'm not trying to 'shoot the messenger', just looking for answers. |
