Industry-Leading Problem-Resolution Technology Underscores Toshiba's Commitment to Customer Satisfaction

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 1998-- Toshiba America Information Systems (TAIS) and SystemSoft(R) Corp.
(NASDAQ:SYSF - news), today announced that Toshiba is shipping a customized version of SystemSoft's industry-leading problem-resolution
software, SystemWizard(tm), on its new line of corporate desktop PCs. Bundled as ''Expert Intelligent Help'' on Toshiba's Equium 7000S and
Equium 7000D systems announced today (see separate release), SystemWizard enables Toshiba users to automatically identify, diagnose and
resolve thousands of common computing problems, often eliminating the need to call technical support.

''Including SystemWizard on our new Equium PCs is an important step in Toshiba's strategy to provide all of our customers with best-in-class,
easy-to-use, PC support,'' said Jeffrey Friederichs, vice president of worldwide marketing, Toshiba's Computer Systems Group. ''By ensuring
Toshiba customers have direct access to the industry's most advanced, automated problem-resolution technology, SystemWizard enables us to
significantly improve the user experience and gives the Toshiba brand a measurable level of differentiation. With the successful implementation on
the Equium, we can envision expanding the integration of SystemWizard to other Toshiba product lines in the future.''

''Toshiba's strategic decision to include automated problem-resolution capabilities on its new Equium PCs demonstrates its commitment to
improving quality, innovation and customer satisfaction,'' said Robert F. Angelo, chairman and chief executive officer of SystemSoft. ''By licensing
SystemWizard on its corporate desktops, Toshiba further affirms SystemSoft's technology leadership in automated problem-resolution software

SystemWizard from SystemSoft, the core technology of Toshiba's Expert Intelligent Help system, contains a knowledge base of common
configuration and usage information. By asking the user a few simple ''yes/no/don't know'' questions, SystemWizard leverages its knowledge
base of information to quickly hone in on the problem and automatically implement the appropriate solution, with little or no user intervention
required.
