John: Thank you for the input. I was just down establishing a Roth for this year and early this AM I awoke with question in my mind. 20 years ago would have been other questions floating around, settle happily for these now. It's a great alternative to the eternal question. Thank your resident expert for me. I can roll over all my bad choices into what I can call my hope chest Roth IRA. Hope they will rise from the dead. Keep tax to a minimum, maybe I will get lucky. Regards, Eli
