Dear John the Butler -

I want you to know how much I enjoy your sermonizing. I think that it's neat to start off your children's investing career in this wild-ass speculation. Most responsible parents would have bought a share or two of Berkshire Hathaway and insisted that the kids spend time on the Helmsman's letter. But not you. You take your kids and put them into this trash, and try to make it right. Let's see, is this situational ethics at its best?

Now let's see. If this 'non-invasive' bilirubin machine turns out to be a hoax and babies gork, that's OK so long as John Butler, the big-time man of the cloth makes his profit. Well, barf!

Serious investors have serious questions about this company, its management, its business strategy, and its products.

It's easy for some gas passer from Indianapolis who does patient care by the hour to pontificate about the monetary value of their device. Hey, when his shift is over, he clocks out and grabs his check. But what if there's a limited pool of funds to care for babies and this gadget simply siphons away some of the resources with little value add? What if this charade diminishes the quality of care for all babies so that the beatific John Butler can pocket his pieces of silver and move on to the next scam?

The only way to examine such issues is to foster a full market discussion, and if it offends your earsies. Tough shit.

Dan
