Henry - Thanks for the response and the estimates re: grinding. Is it your impression that grinding is all that will be necessary or are additional procedures needed post-grinding to extract the ore. (obviously I haven't done my homework on heap-leaching! - PJ gave me the impression that this (HL) was probably the recovery method to be used here and,in my mind,(what's left of it) I envision this as something separate from grinding. PJ's estimate for heap-leaching was $30/ton, FYI.
Speaking of Y2K issues, I actually work (I use that term loosely) in the IS field. I was talking with a consulting firm yesterday that has successfully completed 3 to 4 COBOL Y2K conversions with great speed and high quality at very reasonable costs. If you know a company(s) who is in deep yogurt with this problem (and many are), I'd be happy to plug my friends in with them. They will do 100,000 - 750,000 lines of conversion for free just to show firms what they can do.
Anyway, great to see the Naxos news. Things are definitely shaping up. Appreciate all your efforts. Carl
