Mark: An attritor is a form of grinder, Mark. You put ore in a metal drum, add solid balls (they can be made of various materials), and a stirring device powered by a powerful motor revolves continuously in the drum, thereby grinding the ore down. Try a Yahoo search on "attritor." You'll find some interesting info. I don't know if an attritor was used to grind the ore to 200 mesh, though.
