16 1/2 years ago, I gave birth to a 4 1/2 week early, 4 lb, 17 in long, baby girl. She was "healthy" from the standpoint that she didn't have lung or breathing problems, etc.

What did happen was after a couple of days, she turned jaundice. I can not tell you how worried and upset we were.

When we were able to bring her home (7 days later), her heels were a mess. Black and blue, tiny scabs, I wanted to cry.

Now that I am reaching the age where I will be becoming a grandparent, I never want to see my grandchildren suffer the same fate.

So to the Dan Packer's, Mr. Pink's, and David S.'s of the world, they must have no feelings for their fellow human beings. To inflict unnecessary pain and suffering on the most defenseless of all. How truly sad.
