John, thanks for the opinion. Just started this thread today, and wondered if you might have a word of advice for me.

I'm running a two-system network, a desktop and notebook, with Windows NT workstation on both. I know the two Fast ethernet NICs and fast ethernet 4-port hub work fine, since I was able to get them working with NetBeui. But I'd like to try to get them working with TC/PIP or IPX, since these are the only protocals that apparantly work with LapLink. Might you point me to a good FAQ or guide for setting up these protocols working? I fiddled with it for a while last month, but didn't get anything else working easily. (In event viewer, I am getting a 4311, "Initialization failed because the driver device could not be created," if that's revealing at all.)

Also, any further thoughts you'd have on picking TC/PIP or IPX (or something else) over their alternatives would be most welcome.

Regards,

Dave
