I think they do, but they're afraid to slam on the brakes (1929 style). It doesn't matter; whether the fed does it or it's some external event (e.g. a Saudi coup d'etat, Japanese earthquake/meltdown, asteroid strike-g-),something will happen that an overpriced market would be more vulnerable to than a reasonably priced one. I don't know how or when, but I stay away from near term puts and (what I see as) overpriced stocks. I like long term puts and cheap stocks. Here's some more possibilities for cheapo stocks I've bought or traded and may buy again if the price is right: PLRB, HYDEB, LANZ, VANS, AAGP, TAC, CRG.
