Mark, the typical PC sold today is shipped with a read only CD-ROM and a 3 1/4 floppy, and some people have been buying a ZIP on the side.

This adds upto almost $400 for all three. If the new CD-ROM works it could replace all three!! Therefore, the upfront cost to buy the CD-ROM is a wash. What is going to determine the sucess of this new technology is the price of the read-write CD.

If it's below a ZIP disk price, IOMG is in trouble. If no them IOMG will survive another attack, till the next attack.
