Haven't lived any place in 15 years there weren't letters to the editors warning people to watch their pets.

Dear Sirs:

Those pesky Satanists have come and taken Muffy away again. Really! I've about had it with them, and so have my neighbors. There's one Satanist family on our block that's painted their silly pentagrams ALL OVER the front porch, and in the most UGLY color, too.

We're expected to put up with their smelly goats, the ASPCA says we have to, but what about my Muffy? Doesn't she have equal rights in this community?

I think we really have to get organized well before Halloween. Thank you.
