energetic technical superstar. Forecross is the premier developer of automated
migration tools. You need to have DBA-level skills in IDMS-DB and DB2 (other
relational database experience a plus). You need to be a super-debugger of
applications written in COBOL II/COBOL 370, CICS and DB2, but think like a
software design engineer so you can help define improvements in our products.
You will assist customers who are converting from IDMS to DB2 (or other
relational database environments) with schema-, data- and program-conversion
issues. This position requires a fair amount of travel. It may be OK for you to
be based outside of San Francisco if you like lots of travel. Excellent salary
and benefits. Stock options in this publicly-traded company could be part of
the package.
