Hi, bob,

Don't worry! You invested in the most valuable oil/gas assets, which are located in the western Canada. The good oil/gas lands are limited now. You understand it, so do I. Could the S/M/L boys be so arrogant that they cannot grasp the concept? I am sure the time is coming soon.

"When you start buying land in a new area, you can expect the majors to be very cautious. Unless they have seismic, or clear-cut well evidence, there are always enough negative people around to keep their bids down. The trick is not to nibble at the land, a little at a time, over several sales. You have to hit it hard the first time. We call this the "stun" em" policy. Take all you can at a solid price. Don't worry about "leaving money on the table," because the next time the price will be considerably higher and your first bids will look beautiful." - From the Hunters (Feb 1974)

They buy the LAND and I buy their STOCKS!

Good luck
