I thought PWAV's market was supposed to have been killed with the Asian crisis. Where did Nokia (PWAV's new partner) get this info. in today's press release: GSM is the world's most popular digital cellular standard. 70 million people in over 100 countries use GSM phones. GSM now accounts for one third of the world's total wireless market. The GSM MoU Association expects the number of users to exceed 205 million by the end of year 2000. The milestone of 100 million GSM customers will be surpassed during 1998. Someone said there are only 10 million cellular phones in Korea where PWAV has done 80% of their business so far?
