Hi EKS...Now, you started to talk again.
I agree with you 100% on this one. They need to increase revenues any way they can. Software sales, networking services, education, whatsoever....their statement about increasing revenues as the main objective is right on, . Right now, the general perception is "Novell is going down the tubes". The only way to change this situation is to show there is a stong demand for their products and services. Your suggestion in a previous post to reduce expenses and increase earnings while revenues are allowed to decline will assure that they will go into oblivion slowly.
I personally want them to increase revenues without worrying about earnings at this time. As revenues increase, operating margins improve resulting in better EPS. Oracle & Informax reported $.17 EPS and they are trading at ~$45 and ~$25, respectively, while Novell is trading at $10 3/8 with the same EPS. The main difference is revenue growth.

Comment: This is a very confusing article. In one breath, it says that this will enable development of application without using the NLM's, and in another it says that the ISV's don't want to use it. Is the article confusing?, or, I am confused, or both. I need some help with this article. -----------------------------------------
