Thanks all for the ROTH IRA Tax info. But I am still confused. Let say I have put $4,000 in a deductible reg. IRA and purchased 800sh at $5.00 and transfer the 800sh to a ROTH IRA, closing price at transfer date was $.75. Will I be taxed, over 4 years, on $4,000 or $600? Ed
