SEI: A spokesperson declines to elaborate on Huttoe but confirms relocation of headquarters to Virginia.

Systems of Excellence Chairman
Is on Leave; New Auditor Hired

By a WALL STREET JOURNAL Staff Reporter

MCLEAN, Va. -- Systems of Excellence Inc.'s president said that "to the
best of his knowledge the chairman of the company, Charles O. Huttoe, has
taken an administrative leave of absence." A spokesperson declined to
elaborate.

Also, Systems said it had hired a new auditing firm because "the company lacks
confidence in the financials that were filed and prior press releases." It added
that "investors and market makers should not rely" on that information. As
reported previously, bulletin-board trading in the company's stock was halted
Oct. 7 for two weeks while the Securities and Exchange Commission
investigates the company's financial and administrative activities. The trading
suspension will "continue until more accurate and complete disclosure has been
made to the SEC and other self-regulatory organizations," said Kenneth
Walther, the president.

Systems also relocated its headquarters last week from Coral Gables, Fla., to
McLean, the spokesperson said. The company makes and markets desktop
video-distribution and teleconferencing products.
