Guys...an email is a text message that cannot do anything to your system. Somebody can send an executable program as an attachment but then you would have to run that program for it to do anything. Microsoft did not issue any virus warning...it's a joke. This sort of email virus scare pops up every few months and travels around the net. It's like a bad chain letter.
