To Anyone Interested: I have a few thoughts I'd like to share about this investment, the company, and in particular, its President...
Q. Why do people invest? A. To make money $$$$$$.
Q. Do I expect to make money on my FAMH investment? A. YES!!!
Q. Why? A. One Part of my bullishness on FAMH comes from what I have learned about Ira Monas' personality and his character. He is one tough negotiator.
He sets high goals and then puts himself under pressure to perform.
He thrives on the pressure. Part of the pressure (if not most of it) comes from what he commits to do. He then has to make good on it.
He "boasts" about FAMH because of his confidence in himself, the industry, the company's basic structure, and his deal-making abilities.
I think he knows exactly what he can do. By putting himself in a high profile position, he subjects himself to 2 things... The Spotlight, and Criticism.
You like him or you hate him.
A person may not like his temper, but I KNOW I truly admire and appreciate his tenacity, his perseverance, his drive, and his ability to make deals.
Whether you like him or not, he's going to make a lot of money for shareholders. When somebody sells, it's often possible it's the company that's buying those shares.
Everyday, I think there are fewer and fewer shares available to the public and more and more controlled by the company.
Just one more closing thought... FAMH merges and goes to NASDAQ. Financials probably HAVE to be filed with the SEC to do this. The company controls most of the shares. Are they worried about sell-off? Think about it! :-)
I'm continuing to add a few more almost every day. To those that have sold, I say, "Thank you!"
I am just an independent investor with my own opinions. I urge everyone to do their own research and do only do what they feel comfortable with based on their own level of risk tolerance.
Best wishes, Brad
PS. This guy DOES have enough energy to run the company AND post a message or two now and then, believe me. He's a non-stop machine! |
