A one for four reverse split would put it at $8+ for about a day. It would soon be $6 (or the equivalent of $1 1/2). I do not know why it happens that way, but I have seen it all the time. Perhaps it is the idiots who suddenly think the stock has quadrupled, and sell to take "profits".
