Jane, why on earth are you feeling stalked on five threads? I thought you said that the nice pagans, atheists and Christians (who may be more moderate than you are) at the Feelings thread had been pretty polite. Is that no longer true?
I was very concerned about your remarks on satanists, Jane, and did some research, just to make sure that I was correct about my understanding that satanists are usually just teenagers who listen to heavy metal music and dress all in black and are going through adolescent rebellion. Oh, and that silly Anton LaVey!!!
He had a very good laugh and made a bunch of money, Jane. He was from San Francisco, and no one here was afraid of him, for sure!! He was a real self-promoter, and did not sacrifice animals or anything else. He just advocated personal freedoms, if you read his words carefully, but was very skillful at getting everyone's attention.
I really think you should at least read these web sites, Jane, so that you can relax and know that THEY are not going to get you someday. All those reports of satanic ritual abuse, in fact, were a kind of mass hysteria.

Now Jane, I don't want to appear rude or intrusive, and of course I am not expecting you to say anything about this, but I keep thinking the same thing about you when I read your posts, and it is that something very, very bad happened to you when you were a little girl, like someone you knew and trusted might have molested you or hurt you in some other way, and I think that you might be spending so much of your energy keeping those memories locked up that you see a lot of evil in places that it doesn't really exist, and divide everyone into groups so that you can maintain some sort of control so the memories don't come out and hurt you again.
I'm not sure you are aware of it, but you really scare me because I am worried about you and feel like you might need someone to help you. Please, please don't pick up hitchhikers or anything, though, Jane. Real evil does exist in the world, but it does not come from Satan, or Santa, or nice harmless pagans or atheists or agnostics or free thinkers. Where it comes from is people who were really DAMAGED when they were children--molested, abused, dropped on their heads--and because they feel bad about themselves and are very hurt and angry, the only way they can deal with all of those feelings is to hurt other people the same way they were hurt. But the way they are evil comes from bad parenting and sad desperate lives, not from God or the Devil, Jane.
