Charred one:, Yes we gather he is part of the gang whose president was jailed and some say PDG bribed. So you know he knows where the butter on his bread is. So far his party's toast seems to be landing butter to the sand. So he has true grit.
He does not speak for the people. He wants a return to the power elite of the past. The current government is far more 'of the people; and the betting is that the old crowd will not get in. However they are actually losing money by trying to sell excess iol. Selling less would get them more $$ as the price would go back to $20+

The PDG monster plant would be more highly automated and need less local labor, the 3 smeller operation would use a smaller level of automation and more local labor. Look it up. It is no good to have no-one working there from the locale as there is no trickle down of $$, excep as maids and butlers.

In additoon the smaller plant of KRY will stretch production over a longer time and thus be better for infrastructure and jobs in the long run.

Do you not recall your history book about how the Inca gold destroyed Spain in 2 generations? The brought back gold and bought stuff and their own industries did not develop and once the gold was gone they ended up behind the rest of Europe. Same with oil, they are pumping and wasting the resource and if they do not stretch it and cut the rate in half they will only get 1/3rd of the oil and $$ a long term approach would give them.
