RE: More Zip Click o' Death

The following just showed up in my email. I subscribe to the E-MU Sampler mailing list. (The "e6400" in the text is the model number of an E-Mu Sampler)

...I have yet to prove any cause-effect relationship but....

A couple days after hooking up my ZIP drive inline btween the e6400 and win950 osr2.1 computer, my zip drive came down with the infamous "click death" (there are many websites, newsgroups with information on this most common of ZIP drive disasters).

Iomega says it will replace any ZIP drive with click death for free.
BUT, I have been calling, emailing & writing (four typed letters so far) to them for two months with no response. I will never buy another Iomega product!

I also use a Syquest Syjet which has been fast and maintenance free so
far...

Way to go Iomega! Another unhappy customer! What is interesting is that I also use a Syjet with my Sampler, and it has been flawless.
