I have opened an account with Etrade. There have been a few problems that I encountered when dealing with Etrade. The most recent one was a limit order that I placed, and subsequently changed to a higher price.
What happened was the trade was executed at the original price instead of the new price and the funny thing was the message about the transaction did not get through until after a couple of days. The message was marked two days earlier when my wife checked, and she checks the stock prices at least once a day. The loss was not that huge as we are not big investor, but still when I tried to talk to its customer supports, they were not very helpful. In the mean time, I am still looking for a good reliable broker, any idea?
