re shorting... don't think it's marginable. I traded it last year, it was a dream stock. I did do some research on the company then... I believe last year they were only 1 of 2 companies in the u.s. set up to do this, but this may have changed. there was something that set them apart, but the memory fails. The 'glow in the dark' issue was brought up regularly, but people remember the jack in the box incident, the recalling of umteen tons of beef last summer, etc. I may look at the issue a little differently than some... I have a 2 year old who isn't allowed to eat beef out, i.e. Mcdonalds, etc. Bacteria that could cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms in an adult could kill an infant, and E. coli is much more common than people realize. I know those figures from something else... I *think, but would bear checking, that something along the line of 15% of beef could be contamidated, and the current inspection system just can't catch it all.
Whew! Bottom line... it might make a good trade<g>
In keeping with the spirit of the thread... do you see me making a nusance of myself on the pog thread? I may wish I'd kept my head buried... sometimes ignorance really is bliss. There isn't a lot of feel bullish about, other than our inate<sp?> belief that gold really is worth something. Can it really run as long as the powers that be hold it in such low esteem? Ah, the million dollar question, eh? BTW, I'm seriously considering buying some physical gold and silver. Do you have any experience with this?
