Davef - Is this the guy who lists the Lennar Corp server as his email address? He posted on SI that he worked for Lennar. Like it or not, there is a problem with folks using company time and company property to communicate on boards like this. As you know you do not have the same privacy rights at work, using the company server and internet connection.

I guess the question arises as to whether a shareholder is allowed to think of his share ownership as representing part ownership in the company.

I take it that you own some ACRT. Do you consider yourself to be part owner of Actrade? Does that right give you liberty to say what you think about management - for better or for worse? Do you think that just because you own ACRT shares you can call Mitch and take up his time?

Or is it wrong to criticize, but right to promote?

There are lots of questions. I believe that if this guy is posting from work, he may have violated rules at his place of employment. If he didn't, then no harm, no foul. I believe it is up to his employer to decide. If a shareholder initiates the complaint, is that a violation? Is the shareholder's only remedy to sell his shares?

The rules of SI are inscrutable. I assume that you folks send nasty messages and ask them to remove anyone who doesn't agree with you. Frankly I think that suspensions are non-productive. Raucous threads build traffic. SI needs to maintain credibility or get passed by. They'll do that best by leaving well enough alone. JMHO
