The deal with IBM was needed for any major
contract with a 1st tier company. But the
timing is interesting to me. Acer is
setting up a division to sell the lowest
priced computers, starting as early as this June.
Maybe IDTI is trying to get that sale...and
needed the IBM card to show Acer that IDTI
was serious.

Acer could be supplied by IDTI's own production
in June and by late in the 3rd qtr IBM would
come on line. By the all important 4th qtr
both companies would be producing as many chips as necessary for Acer or anyone else who wanted to
buy them.

Note to analysts.....come on guys, where are the upgrades???
