VLAD.....I shorted 10,000 shares of PRST at 72 only to watch it go up to 200 in June of 95. But I knew PRST was a scam and it was only a matter of time before the bubble bursted so I shorted MORE. One month later, as you know, PRST collapsed to 42! (at which time I covered for a hair raising profit). I also know the OTC market probably better than most people on this thread as I once owned an OTC trading firm in the mid-80's, and we made markets right along with Sherwood, Mayer, Wein, Nash-Weiss, Paragon, Myerson, etc....

Yes MM manipulation is not uncommon in the vast lands of the OTC. However, it is almost always the "SCAM - SHIT" companies who perpetuate these ripoffs. As for VVUS, I agree the MM's have been manipulating this stock. But I also believe that MM manipulation only plays a small role in how VVUS's equity trades. I disagree with your main thesis that the MM's are scaring the little guy out of this name so they can "steal their stock cheap". How do you account for the large institutions who own this stock and could out bully any MM if they felt it made good financial sense to "scoop up all shares to not only prevent major mm downside manipulation, but to also protect their position at higher prices, as well as possibly force a squeeze. From what I can tell, hardly any "BIG BOYS" have been seriously accumulating VVUS over the past 90 days.

Any way it is late, I am tired and don't have the patience or desire to type at length or post at length.

If you or anyone else would like to contact me to discuss in length our educated OPINIONS on VVUS, I would welcome the opportunity.

Good Luck,

PS. The script data is at my office!
