Good point David. I don't buy the assumption, made by some, that something wrong (channel stuffing) was intentionally done by the USRX management before the merger in order to profit. The people running USRX had a long history of properly managing the company.

It is my guess what happened to USRX in getting stuck with an overly stuffed channel...is the same thing which happened to ROK and others. The lack of a standard brought the 56K market to a screeching halt. And that wasn't predicted by the vast majority. Using history as a guide told us good marketing would move the product. But what I think was unforeseen...was the modem users were now much more savvy to the online world then before.

That's an opinion from an old robot who still thinks the merger was backassward.

Has anyone other than me noticed that every time COMS stock is ready to go up...they rain on their own parade? Cooked books, inventory, SEC requests the books get redone and now layoffs.
