Re: Financial Woolovertheeyes Accounting gimmickery and financial fast ones are nothing new. Plain old errors happen as well (probably with depressing frequency). My favorite book on the topic is Howard Schilit's "Financial Shenanigans" which is an excellent collection of specific mispractices and illustrative case studies of real companies.
