Brian: Did you peruse last Q earnings report where the company came in significantly better than Street consensus? Or the impressive cash position and balance sheet which shows great ability to support the burn rate of development stage biotech companies? Or the statement that the company very well may show a profit next Q? Brian, I had been as skeptical as you until last Qs results; the tables of stocks, listed and OTC, are littered with stocks with no earnings which have done quite well. (I'll point one out to the thread which I wish I had invested in - LXR Biotech {LXR-Amex} - if you want to see movement in a stock with zero earnings and only hope in the future!) I personally believe that LGND, with a large roster of major pharmas stepping up to the plate and investing in it, will be a rewarding short and long term investment. Will post info from yesterday's RJ institutional conference when available today.
