All, Did anyone read the 2 articles in the print version of WSJ this morning about Pfizer and the "Multibillion-Dollar" Impotence Pill? Well, there was something in both articles that I found interesting. In the first article, they quote Pfizer's chairman and chief executive William Steere who says the usual hype. But then comes the interesting part, Mr. Steere is a member of the board of directors of Dow Jones &Co (publisher of the Wall Street Journal). Ah, now I'm starting to understand why the articles I read in the WSJ about VVUS and impotence are all "Pfizer-sided". Too paranoid you say? Well, the second article says this about existing treatments (I have inserted the All-caps for emphasis), "Previous treatments have been INEFFECTIVE or rather unpleasant, such as medications that must be INJECTED directly into the penis and surgery for penile implants...Viagra works subtly to amplify the effects of erection-promoting chemicals in the penis, producing MORE fully developed and LONGER-LASTING erections". Ok, so I'm a bit on the conspiracy-theory side here (which is not normal for me), but it does make you wonder... -Jman
