Another approach is to trade within the sector. You can sell off some of those that are up and buy some that are down. Selling GLM, SDC or FLC for example and buying ESV, DO or RIG. It offers a way to stay in the sector while lowering cost basis, trading to realize tax losses, etc. The problem with trying to trade them otherwise is risking the big move should they take off to the upside. That's always a possibility when you're dealing with stocks you feel are basically undervalued.
