Alan,

re: I don't claim to be a business expert or a great investor, but, would someone please explain the "math" to me.

The "math" is that BAY has new leading edge products that are gaining momentum. Iomega has old obsolete products that are being shunned by the market. It's pretty simple. I tried to warn this thread about the writing on the wall a couple of months ago. Oh well.

The Zip drive is being given away to OEMs. Nomai looks like it will be able to make Zip disks and under price Iomega. The Jaz is over priced and the Jaz 2 missed it's market window with Syquest eating its lunch and Castlewood about to wipe it out. The latest issue of PC Magazine said that it could not recommend Iomega's new video capture device to anyone, due to poor quality and hardware incompatibility.
So, what's left? The Clik. Execution on this device needs to be flawless. Don't marry your stocks!

Pravin.
