I agree 100%. Can't understand why PC Mag would waste paper on this sort of nonsense. If Intel were to acquire Compaq, it would alienate most of its customer base and would amount to suicide. Intel DEPENDS on a competitive PC manufacturing industry in order to maximize CPU sales.
