David: I wish I had time to type this whole damned report. And by the time I answer all of the questions, I may have. <G> But The report also outlines the fact that the RBOC's will have to upgrade, presumably using PAIR equipment in order to provide this new technology. What I'm seeing are companies like IBM and the others, pushing this faster technology to the forefront. The RBOC's will HAVE to respond. And it is here that PAIR will make it's biggest money. The full terms of the ROK deal have not yet been disclosed and I would be suprised to find that the only benefit PAIR will get is $1/chip. Specifically from the report: "Rockwell will be the exclusive channel for PAIR chips, although PAIR will independently develop and markey ADSL systems. As part of this announcement, the two companies will jointly develop product enhancements for both computer and central site modems." Good Luck to All. R..
