I know you like selling covered calls, I do it often as well. But for ASND it seems not a good idea to sell covered calls. For example, last week, when I decided to sell ASND at 34 1/2, I also thought about selling covered calls instead. However, if I did sell the calls, it could only protect me down to about 33 1/2. In this case, it seems better just sell the stock and buy back later, plus the commissions for the stock trade is lower than the option trade. Now I only sell covered calls on stocks not volatile like ASND (e.g. CS). What do you think?
