Tom,

I'm reporting technology and licensing issues relevant to Citrix and Windows Terminal Server. I am pragmatic in that I claim to have absolutely no idea how CTXS stock is going to move short-term. However, I see some problems long-term.

One of my posts, for example, discussed Citrix's revenue stream from ICA clients from Wyse and others (which I mentioned a a number of posts ago, but it attracted no comment until now). I have heard in the past, from NC and Windows Terminal makers that they felt they were being "raped" by Citrix for client royalties, and I stand by that! Some manufacturers have already started building in RDP clients.

Let's see what Microsoft is going to charge for WTS clients, and what they are going to charge for RDP connections. Then compare that with $1,495 for pICAsso.

Then work it all out for yourself...yes, Citrix have more features than then existing Beta direct from Microsoft, but let's not kid ourselves that Citrix will still have a monopoly when WTS is released.

Cheers,

Ray
