I finally got an answer from the Goldman Sachs Analyst. He says that the ROK release is a 1999 story, and while it's going to be very important for PAIR, the PGFleX/Plus splitter is the real story right now. If there are going to be any upside suprises, this is where they will be comming from. And he doesn't have any new thoughts on that yet. So I suppose that PAIR will continue to trade in a somewhat predictable range and frustrate longer term investors a little longer. I've decided to continue trading the stock for now and will look at it for the long term a little later in the year. For now I'm out of the stock with a buy target south about two points.
